Tidskriften Teosofiska Rörelsen – Index för Årgång 1-14
(ISSN 0281-1103) är en U.L.T.-tidskrift som behandlar den grundläggande teosofiska filosofin. Teosofiska Rörelsen är en tidskrift som återspeglar teosofiska tankar och som utforskar de filosofiska grunderna och det terapeutiska användandet av tidsåldrarnas samlade visdom. TR innehåller forntida texter och översättningar ur den teosofiska rörelsens arkiv. TRs artiklar vänder sig till deras intuition "vars visshet om Visdomens Mästare är levande i hjärtat". TR har också artiklar av olika nutida författare som vill dela med sig resultatet av sina individuella reflektioner och erfarenheter.

Ett meddelande om utträde ur TS av BP Wadia
Jag har kommit till slutsatsen, att T.S. har övergett det ”Ursprungliga Programmet”, som var inspirerat av de ”Ursprungliga Impulser” genom vilka Mästarna skapade det med hjälp av sin Budbärare, H.P. Blavatsky. Det är inte längre ett Samfund av människor, som söker Visdomen. Det har istället blivit en organisation, där de många tror på de få, och där blind efterföljelse blivit förhärskade, där tomt sken gäller för verkligheter och vidskeplig lättrogenhet uppmuntras och där den teosofiska etikens höga ideal exploateras och blir indragna i psykismens och omoraliskhetens dy. Teosofin – det tankesystem som Mästarna gjorde känt genom H.P.B. – har upphört att vara föremål för verkliga studier och vad som satts i dess ställe har föga likhet med den ursprungliga, virila, sunda och djupa läran. T.S. sådant det är idag är illojalt mot Teosofin och dess heliga Sak, och jag anser att de, som förblir lojala mot Teosofin, inte kan vara lojala mot T.S.

Den Teosofiska Rörelsen 1875 -1950
Detta är en reviderad och uppdaterad upplaga av den volym som utgavs av E P Dutton 1925.

Den teosofiska rörelsen är internationell i sin omfattning och under de 75 år som den existerat har dess filosofi och etiska läror i teosofin vunnit intresse och djupt påverkat oräkneliga människor i alla delar av världen. Nästan varje bildad person idag har någon förnimmelse av vad karma och reinkarnation betyder – två av de mest uråldriga idéerna i religiös filosofi som är känd för mänskligheten – och den bekantskapen med de viktigaste principerna i uråldrig moral beror nästan helt på den teosofiska rörelsens inflytande.

Mot bakgrund av modern kultur i världen presenterar den här boken den teosofiska rörelsens historia, beskriver dess grundares arbeten och allmänna framträdanden och behandlar kontroversiella ämnena hos teosoferna med olika teosofiska "samfund" och personligheter som förekommit i ledande positioner i sidor av rörelsen och vilka blivit kända för allmänheten genom tidningar och tidskrifter. Den är rikt dokumenterad med referenser till den teosofiska litteraturen och andra källor.

Robert Crosbie och United Lodge of Theosophists
Robert Crosbie är älskad och hedrad i U.L.T. därför att han har uttänkt och utarbetat ett idealiskt sätt att fortsätta den Teosofiska Rörelsen, och detta i en period i vilken den löpte stor risk att stranda på persondyrkans, den personliga auktoritetens, urvattningens och förvirringens blindskär. Helena Blavatsky var en utomordentlig källa till inspiration, William Q. Judge ett föredömligt förkroppsligande av den. De som skulle komma att dricka djupa klunkar ur den källan och i Judge finna förebilden för ett sunt teosofiskt arbetssätt, skulle också komma att ge Rörelsen de bästa chanserna till en sund fortsättning. Rörelsens kvalitet beror hela tiden på kvaliteten hos dess medarbetare, på dessas motiv, utgångspunkter, utbildning och mål. Genom att vara "lojal mot den Teosofiska Rörelsens stora Grundare", med tonvikten på det väsentligaste i teosofin, och genom att fästa mindre uppmärksamhet vid "tvistefrågor och olikheter i personliga åsikter", lade Crosbie grunden till sunt, värdefullt och varaktigt arbete. Det är denna essäs syfte att visa att detta synnerligen geniala bidrag från Crosbie kom till tack vare hans studier och livserfarenhet, som kompletterade hans Jags begåvning och lät den komma till uttryck.

Aftermath – a series of articles on The Theosophical Movement 1925-1935
The object of this series of articles is to survey the course of the Movement from 1925 until 1935. It is a continuation of the Book: ”The Theosophical Movement 1875-1925; A history and a Survey”. It is an effort to face the making of theosophical history in the light of Theosophy as recorded by H.P.B.; to benefit by the lessons which may be learned in that way and in no other, and to point out the application of those lessons to the immediate present and the unfolding future.

Aftermath is a 10-part series of articles which appeared in the Magazine THEOSOPHY, Vol. 23, No. 3, January, 1935, a total of 115 pages.

Statement of Resignation from the Theosophical Society by B P Wadia
I have come to the conclusion that the Theosophical Society has strayed away from the "Original Programme" inspired by the "Original Impulses" whereby the Masters brought it into existence through the help of Their Messenger, H. P.Blavatsky. It is no more a Society of seekers of the Wisdom, but an organization where many believe in the few, and blind following has come to prevail; where shams pass for realities, and the credulity of superstition gains encouragement; and where the noble ideals of Theosophical Ethics are exploited and dragged in the mire of psychism and immorality. Theosophy as a system of thought put forward by the Masters through H.P. Blavatsky has ceased to be a serious subject of persistent study, and that which has taken its place has little resemblance to the original virile, healthy, and profound teachings. The Theosophical Society as it exists today is disloyal to Theosophy and its Holy Cause, and I regard that those who remain loyal to Theosophy can not be loyal to the Theosophical Society.

The Dream of Ravan – A Few notes on the three gunas
In the mystery allegory, The Dream of Ravan published first as a series of articles in The Dublin University Magazine of 1853-54, and later in book form, the unknown author gives us what is said to be "an authoritative utterance of Hindu psychology." As such, therefore, we have to regard it.

It will be remembered by those who have read this book with a message, based on a little known philosophical episode in the Ramayana, that Mandodari broke down with grief after she heard that there would come a time in the future when she would no longer remain Ravan's wife and would be superseded by another. The Chorus of Rishis, in its endeavour to cheer her up, told her of the three qualities arising from Prakriti or nature: Tamas (darkness or indifference), Rajas (passion or desire), and Sattva (truth or goodness). She was told that she was of the Tamasic nature and was, therefore, the complement of the predominant Tamas quality in Ravan; but when in a future birth he rose to the stage of Rajas he would need a companion and partner someone who was of a higher quality than Tamas to spur him on. But as the Tamasic quality—which is the characteristic of brute matter, that pertaining to the animal man—even when no longer predominant, is not annihilated but continues to exist as the basis which affords fuel to higher emotions, so Mandodari would always be necessary to Ravan to minister to his Tamasic nature. A strong bond would exist between them in the future, not the bond of husband and wife, but of beloved master and devoted servant.

His native country was the Godavari District on the Coromandal Coast of India; his vernacular tongue the Telugu. His grandfather was the Sheristadar of the District, and his maternal uncle was Diwan (Prime Minister) to the Rajah of Pithapur. His father died when he was but [a] six months’ baby, and the uncle brought him up."

Damodar K Mavalankar – A theosophical Pioneer by David Pratt – Supplement – the articles: Contemplation; Correspondence on ”Contemplation”; The metaphysical basis of Esoteric Buddhism
Damodar was born in a wealthy Brahman family at Ahmedabad in September 1861. His father taught him the tenets of his religion, and he also received an excellent English education. Between the ages of ten and fourteen, he devoted himself to the orthodox practices of his faith. Later his religious observances were displaced by his academic studies, but his religious ideas and aspirations remained unchanged until mid-1879. It was then that he came into contact with theosophy by reading Isis Unveiled. He applied for membership of the Theosophical Society in July 1879, and was admitted on 3 August, a month before his eighteenth birthday.

They are the sages of the East, the inheritors of the knowledge of the Magian, the Chaldean, the Egyptian, and the ancient Rishis of India; from one of whom, a beloved and revered Master, known to many in the West as well as in the East, the present writers have received the instruction, part of which is presented to the world in the following pages. With the accuracy of the information here afforded, if not with its fulness, the writers are satisfied, and they give it with the sincere hope that the world, for its own enlightenment, will extent to it an open-minded and wise consideration, notwithstanding the imperfections which the shortcomings of the writers may have produced.

TeosofiFonden. Tredje rapporten. den 7 september 2000.
